Hugh James McDonnell's Professional Background
Mr. McDonnell, a native of Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania, graduated from the University of Florida in 1982. In 1991 he graduated from St. Thomas University School of Law and was admitted to the Florida Bar the same year.
Prior to expanding his practice to include Personal Injury, he worked as a prosecuting attorney in the Ninth Judicial Circuit in Orlando, Florida. This provided him with valuable courtroom experience.
He then opened his own firm where he gained extensive and diversified trial experience as a criminal defense attorney, having handled literally thousands of cases at this point in his career. This experience is of tremendous benefit to the injured parties Mr. McDonnell represents.
